Ramblings of an African Geek

A place for me to talk about anything that comes to mind

I have one of those really cool days coming up tomorrow

Tomorrow is the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regional I2CAP finals.

In plain english it means that students from secondary schools in two regions shall be competing against each other to see who can come up with the best solutions to four problems using the Ruby programming language. 30 schools in all, close to a hundred kids.

Stuff like this makes me happy.

I mean, I’d still rather they went with Python, but that’s really not my choice. Plus Ruby is ok.

I did have a hard time finding a good ruby IDE in linux though. Any suggestions?

And yes, there will be pictures
